GardaWorld Security is seeking a casual Security Officer – Response in Orlando, FL. The role adapts to daily missions including customer service, patrols, and surveillance, with overnight 3rd shift availability and flexible part-time scheduling.

Hourly pay ranges from $16.50 to $18.50, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, PTO and more. Background checks and drug screening are required after an offer. State license information is noted.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to pass extensive screening.
• Able to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
• Strong problem solving and responsive skills.
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement background is a plus.
• Florida Class D security license required.
• Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security.
• Conduct patrols and spot suspicious activity.
• Control access points and verify identities.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security.
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents.
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations.
• Ensure the safety and protection of people and property.
