Seekonk Public Schools seeks an Instructional Aide for the FLEX Early Childhood/Elementary Program as a long-term substitute at Mildred H. Aitken Elementary School.

Under supervision of certified staff, the aide supports delivery of services described in IEP, assists with classroom activities, behavior supports, and daily living activities as needed. Requires a degree or credits, ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and ability to communicate effectively.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree or 60 college credits.
• Clear written and oral communication with children and adults.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
• Experience with positive reinforcement strategies and behavior supports.
• Flexible, independent, self-directed within supervision.
• Tech proficiency to support instruction.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare classroom activities under supervision.
• Reinforce material in small groups or individually.
• Assist with lunch, recess, bus duty, and routines.
• Support social-emotional development and academics.
• Assist with displays and classroom materials.
• Attend PD and district trainings.
