Job summary

Arnot Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for 3B/3C Acute Inpatient units. You will participate in flexible scheduling, collaborate with a dynamic team, and contribute to high-demand patient care. Opportunities for continuous learning and job security in a critical field are offered.

Role requires NYS RN licensure (or eligibility), BLS/ACLS/Stroke certs before the introductory period ends. Weekend/holiday rotation is required; on-site, full-time position with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and eligible to obtain a New York State limited permit.
• Current New York State RN license or eligibility for licensure.
• Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Stroke certifications before completion of the introductory period.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients with a variety of needs using a person-centered care approach and effectively prioritize needs.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills to interact with other health care professionals and patients.
• Demonstrate competence in the technical skills required to care for the patient and stay current with department policies and standards.
• Evaluate effectiveness of care, ensure proper documentation, and proactively address problems with follow-through.
• Educate patients and families and serve as a resource on department standards for patient care.
• This is a full-time position that includes weekend and holiday rotation.
