Job summary

Velociti Services is seeking a Flex Cleaner in Fountain Inn, SC to provide on-site custodial services at client locations. The role entails standard cleaning tasks, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, waste removal, and adhering to safety protocols.

The incumbent should be flexible to alternate shifts for coverage and time-off needs. As a frontline associate, you will work Monday through Friday, 9am–5:30pm, in a team setting, maintaining cleanliness and presenting a professional image while delivering

Overview

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm

As a Cleaner at Velociti Services you will be part of our frontline associates that provide commercial cleaning services onsite at client locations focusing on standard custodial and janitorial tasks that include but are not limited to mopping, dusting, vacuuming, wiping, and waste removal.

Candidate must be willing to alternate shifts in the event of coverage needs on another shift, for time off request or cleaning projects etc.

Responsibilities

Success Criteria:

• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures


• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees


• Maintain clean work area


• Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules


• Take direction and respond to supervision


• Communicate with the lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers professionally


• Fill in during staff shortage


• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items


• Use proper personal protective equipment


• Present a professional appearance and conduct


• Understand customer service and satisfaction


• Understand reporting systems and the environment

Key Accountabilities:

• Vacuuming


• Edging

• Cleaning and stocking restrooms and breakrooms

• Emptying trash and transporting to proper disposal area

• May perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

Applicants for this role must be able to:

• Lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds


• Lift, bend, squat, and stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipments


• Climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times a day


• Standing for extended periods of time
