Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. in Harrisonville, MO is seeking a motivated Shop Helper to join our fleet service shop.

The role involves washing trailers, backing up trailers with yard truck, fueling equipment, and supporting fleet maintenance while maintaining safety and cleanliness. The ideal candidate has a valid driver’s license, will complete a 40-hour Yard Truck driving course and forklift certification, and is reliable with a team-first attitude.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills for work orders and time entry.

Responsibilities

• Washing trailers inside and out to maintain cleanliness and appearance.
• Safely operating the yard truck to back up semi-trailers and move them around the yard.
• Cleaning and maintaining the shop, wash bay, and fuel island.
• Fueling equipment and assisting with fleet vehicle maintenance.
• Meeting standard repair times and contributing to a high-performing team.
• Operating company vehicles, yard truck, forklift, and shop trucks.
• Adhering to safety standards and following company policies.
• Completing additional duties to support daily operations.
