Job summary

Transdev North America, Inc. in Modesto, CA is hiring a Utility Worker/Service Employee to perform basic vehicle servicing and support safety-focused operations.

The role is full-time with a union pay scale starting at $22.70/hour and progression to $24.69/hour over four years, plus benefits including vacation, sick leave, medical/dental/vision after 90 days, life insurance, pension, and company holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge of shop safety standards.
• Must be well organized.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must have valid CDL License with airbrake.
• Must be self motivated and able to perform without constant or immediate supervision.
• Ability to work as a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles - interior and exterior.
• Driving, maneuvering, and parking vehicles.
• Fueling buses, replenishing fluids, and logging and recording all fluids.
• Downloading drive cameras & probes fare boxes.
• Perform light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Other duties as required.
