Job summary

Smithfield Foods is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Associate to wash and sanitize trucks and trailers, and assist in vehicle upkeep. You will work with the sanitation team to keep equipment clean and follow safety guidelines.

The role requires the ability to perform hard physical labor, follow instructions, and work in a fast-paced facility environment. On-site hours may include weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to do hard physical labor and lift.
• Strong commitment to teamwork and safety.
• Ability to follow instructions in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Washes and sanitizes trucks and trailers.
• Cleans interiors and exteriors of cars and pickup trucks when required.
• Assists Sanitation Lead in maintaining washing equipment and supplies.
• Follows IPS safety requirements and company policies.
