Job summary

RDO Equipment Co. is seeking a Trucking Manager to lead transportation operations, optimize fleet utilization, and support our trucking teams across assigned locations.

You will oversee trucking requests, ensure DOT compliance, and develop high-performing drivers with a focus on reliable service for customers. Based in Fargo, this role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, process improvement, and leadership development within a dynamic, values-driven team.

Qualifications

• Experience: dispatch or transportation coordination experience.
• Knowledge of hauling heavy equipment, including construction and agricultural equipment.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and transportation compliance requirements.
• Leadership experience preferred: the ability to manage and develop a team.
• Valid work authorization: candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage transportation operations: oversee trucking requests across assigned locations, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
• Optimize fleet utilization: schedule and prioritize workloads to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Serve as a central point of contact: support drivers with job assignments, scheduling, and permitting needs.
