Velocity Truck Rental and Leasing is seeking a Fleet Technician to join our Rancho Dominguez team, working Tuesday-Saturday 2:30pm–11:00pm. You will perform repairs, both major and minor, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.

You will help customers and mechanics with diagnostics and repair work, while maintaining documentation and inventory control. This position offers benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferably possess post-secondary vocational education.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in mechanical inspections and repairs in a related field.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a valid Class B Driver’s License within a specified timeframe.
• Ability to understand and comply with Company Policies comprehensively.

What You’ll Do:

As a Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering top-notch service to our customers. Job Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferably possess post-secondary vocational education.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in mechanical inspections and repairs in a related field.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a valid Class B Driver’s License within a specified timeframe.
• Ability to understand and comply with Company Policies comprehensively.

Required Training:

• 2+ years of experience in heavy truck repairs or a related field.
• Ability to pursue a Class B Commercial Driver’s License.
• Basic training provided by third parties or the company.
• Fundamental knowledge of heavy-duty electrical systems.
• Capability to assist in diagnosing failures and executing repairs effectively.
• Familiarity with component rebuilds and replacements, such as engines and transmissions.

Compensation:

• $35-$38/hourly (depending on experience and qualifications)
• Full Time position
