Job summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking a Fleet Technician/Mechanic in Palmdale, CA to maintain and repair a variety of fleet vehicles. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and compliance while documenting work orders.

Compensation ranges from $32.00 to $36.00 per hour with weekly pay, full benefits within 30 days, and growth opportunities through Amerit University and nationwide advancement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ hands-on automotive maintenance and repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Own and maintain personal tools and toolbox.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to meet physical demands and pass pre-employment screenings (including DOT if required).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on light to heavy duty fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Conduct inspections to ensure safety and compliance standards.
• Accurately document repairs and complete work orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and tools.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
