Job summary

Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, LLC is seeking a dedicated Fleet Technician based in Cocoa to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on the company’s on-road fleet and PIT equipment.

You will work independently with minimal supervision, documenting repairs and ensuring DOT compliance, while gaining exposure to advanced diagnostics and repair techniques.

The role emphasizes reliability, safety, and uptime, with a schedule of 07:30–16:00 Tue–Fri and 4:00–12:30 Sat.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of fleet maintenance experience.
• Experience servicing diesel vehicles, light/medium duty trucks, trailers, and PIT equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs and DOT compliance.
• Basic computer skills and MS Office 365.
• Valid liability insurance and driving record per MVR guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet assets including heavy, medium, and light duty on road vehicles, trailers and Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical failures.
• Complete DOT inspections and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and repair brake systems, suspensions, electrical systems, fuel systems, hydraulic systems.
• Respond to breakdowns and emergency repairs.
• Maintain accurate repair records in Fleet Management Tool.

Job description

Coke Florida is looking for a Fleet Technician based out of ourCocoa location. Working 07:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Tuesday - Friday and 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM Saturday.

What You Will Do:

As a Coke Florida Fleet Technician, you will be responsible for independently performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to main fleet reliability, safety and operational uptime. This role will own the repair execution while learning advanced diagnostics and repair skills

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet assets to including but not limited to ; Heavy, Medium, and Light Duty on road vehicles, Trailers and Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical failures
• Complete DOT inspections and documentation
• Troubleshoot and Repair:
  • Brake systems
  • Suspensions
  • Electrical Systems
  • Fuel Systems
  • Hydraulic Systems
• Respond to breakdowns and emergency repairs
• Maintain accurate repair records in Fleet Management Tool

For this role, you will need:

• 2+ years of fleet maintenance experience
• Experience servicing at least two of the following:
  • Diesel vehicles
  • Light and medium duty trucks
  • Trailers
  • PIT Equipment
• Ability to:
  • Work independently with minimal supervisor and direction
  • Diagnose root cause vs symptoms
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs and DOT compliance
• Basic proficiency with fleet management or work order systems
• Basic Computer skills to include knowledge of web-based fleet tools and MS Office 365
• Valid liability insurance and driving record within Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) policy guidelines*

Additional qualifications that will make you successful in this role:

• Experience with welding
• Gasoline, diesel, propane and/or electric vehicle experience preferred
• ASE certification and CDL license or certification strongly preferred

*Major moving violations include, but are not limited to, leaving the scene of an accident, driving under the influence, and reckless driving. Minor moving violations include, but are not limited to, speeding, driving too close, failure to stop, and improper lane changes. Driving records, including minor moving violations, will be evaluated according to Coke Florida guidelines to determine eligibility for the position.
