Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Fleet Technician 3 to keep our delivery fleet safe, reliable and ready to power the foodservice supply chain. In this on-site role, you will inspect, diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline-powered trucks, trailers and refrigeration units.

You’ll perform preventive maintenance, DOT inspections and complex mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, maintain repair records, and partner with operations to minimize downtime in a safety-focused shop.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting and repairing heavy trucks and trailers.
• Familiarity with DOT inspection procedures and recordkeeping.
• Knowledge of refrigeration units is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and service refrigeration units as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine repairs.
• Conduct DOT inspections and maintain repair records.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems to minimize downtime.
