Job summary

Swire Coca-Cola in Glendale, AZ is hiring a Fleet Technician to maintain diesel trucks and trailers, perform diagnostics, and keep our fleet on the road. This full-time role requires inspecting vehicles, repairing major components and completing preventive maintenance in a fast-paced environment.

You will work 10:00am - 6:30pm Mon - Fri, must have a valid driver's license and 2-4 years' experience with Class 7 & 8 diesel trucks. We offer comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• 2-4 years of diagnostic, maintenance and repair of Class 7 & 8 diesel trucks and trailers.
• Own set of tools and knowledge of proper tool use.

Responsibilities

• Maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.
• Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests
• Keep equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules.
• Correct vehicle deficiencies by repairing major assemblies and systems.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What does a Fleet Technician do at Swire Coca-Cola? This is a full-time industrial level auto-mechanic position, responsible for performing maintenance, running diagnostics and repairing our medium to heavy duty diesel trucks and trailers. You will inspect fleet vehicles, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and play a crucial role in keeping our trucks safe and on the road!

Job Details: Schedule: 10:00am - 6:30pm Mon - Fri. Shift is subject to change based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.
• Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests
• Keep equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules.
• Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (or GED) required
• Must have a valid Driver's License
• 2-4 years diagnostic, maintenance and repair of Class 7 & 8 diesel trucks and trailers required
• Own set of tools and understanding the best practice for how to use required tools
