Groendyke Transport, Inc. is hiring Fleet Technicians to maintain and repair our fleet of heavy-duty trucks and tank trailers. We welcome entry-level and experienced technicians and provide training—no tanker experience required.

You'll perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs in a professional shop to keep equipment safe and reliable. Pay ranges from 22 to 32 dollars per hour, with full-time schedules and day, night, and weekend shifts available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience in diesel/heavy truck/trailer maintenance preferred for advanced technician roles.
• Entry-level technicians are encouraged to apply.
• Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking.
• Experienced technicians must provide their own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspections, maintenance, and repairs on trucks and trailers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on heavy-duty trucks and tank trailers.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and ABS systems based on experience level.
• Complete brake, tire, suspension, and trailer repairs.
• Perform inspections and maintenance documentation.
• Complete welding repairs as needed.
• Follow all shop safety procedures and company standards.

Whether you're just starting your career or bringing years of experience, we're looking for technicians who take pride in safety, reliability, and quality work. Opportunities are available for both entry-level and experienced technicians. No tanker experience is required - training is provided. In this role, you'll perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs that keep our equipment operating safely and efficiently in a professional shop environment.

Pay & Schedule: $22-$32/hour based on qualifications. Full-time positions. Day, night, and weekend shifts available.
