Job summary

Caliber Collision’s Fleet Solutions in North Dallas is seeking an Auto Shop Helper to support a busy production shop. You’ll perform housekeeping, empty waste cans, sweep floors, dispose of parts, help clean spray booths, and keep tools and equipment organized as part of daily operations.

We follow Caliber’s SOPs to ensure timely repairs, and you’ll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for advancement and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility for Caliber’s insurance.
• Able to pass pre-employment screenings (background and MVR).
• Nice to have: collision experience or Collision Vo-Tech cert.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily housekeeping of production interior and dispose of waste.
• Sweep floors, organize tools, and place equipment in proper locations.
• Assist in cleaning spray booths and maintain grounds.
• Support minor maintenance tasks as needed and follow SOPs.

JOB SUMMARY

Caliber Fleet Solutions has an immediate job opening for Auto Shop Helper to perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but not limited to: Maintaining the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area including daily emptying of waste cans, sweeping floors, disposing of unwanted parts, assist in cleaning of spray booths, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location, maintaining parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion and perform minor equipment and building maintenance/repairs when necessary. The Auto Shop Helper will also follow all guidelines in accordance with Caliber’s Standard Operating Procedure and center procedures, which allows teammates to complete repairs in a timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy

• Must be able to pass all pre‑employment screenings including background and MVR checks

• Nice to have, but not required: Previous collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification

ABILITES/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

• Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
• Be able to understand instructions – written and verbal
• Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast‑paced environment
