Job summary

The Home Depot in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an on-site Equipment Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, PDIs, and routine repairs on rental fleet equipment including earth-moving, aerial, landscaping, and material handling gear.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work within a safety-conscious team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years or older.
• Legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Ability to convey complex or technical ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

• 10% Administrative work documenting parts usage and labor on tablet devices.
• 20% Perform inspections and clean equipment and trailers.
• 30% PMs and PDIs to ensure rental readiness.
• 30% Troubleshooting and repairs on small engines and related systems.
• 10% Follow safety protocols and operate forklift as needed.
