Job summary

TCI Leasing & Rental is looking for a dependable Class A CDL Driver / Shop Porter to join our team in Commerce, CA. This role involves moving commercial equipment between locations, transporting gear as needed, and supporting leasing, rental, sales, and shop operations.

You'll inspect vehicles, report safety concerns, pick up parts, fuel and wash equipment, and assist with licensing and documentation while helping the sales and shop teams. Class A CDL strongly preferred and weekly pay is offered.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid Class A CDL and/or has commercial driving experience.
• Is comfortable operating and maneuvering commercial trucks and trailers.
• Has a strong commitment to safe driving and equipment handling.
• Can perform basic vehicle and equipment inspections.
• Is dependable, self-motivated, and willing to help wherever needed.
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced transportation environment.
• Takes pride in keeping equipment clean, safe, and ready for customers.

Responsibilities

• Drive and move commercial trucks and equipment between TCI locations.
• Safely reposition tractors, trailers, and other equipment on the yard.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment for mechanical, safety, or emergency-equipment concerns.
• Report vehicle defects, damage, accidents, or safety concerns.
• Pick up and transport parts from local vendors.
• Fuel and wash trucks and equipment.
• Assist with equipment check-in and preparation.
• Prepare equipment for final sale.
• Assist with licensing and equipment documentation
• Support Sales Representatives with equipment preparation and photos
• Remove decals and label equipment as needed
• Help refurbish and prepare trucks and trailers
• Assist the shop, leasing, rental, and sales teams as needed

CLASS A CDL DRIVER / SHOP PORTER – TCI LEASING & RENTAL

TCI Leasing & Rental is looking for a dependable Class A CDL Driver / Shop Porter to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys driving, working around commercial trucks and trailers, and being part of a hands-on operation.

In this role, you'll use your driving experience to move commercial equipment between TCI locations, transport equipment as needed, pick up parts from vendors, and support our leasing, rental, sales, and shop operations.

SCHEDULE

Tuesday–Friday: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
Saturday: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM

PAY

$19.00–$28.00 per hour
Depending on skills and experience.

Class A CDL strongly preferred!

WHAT YOU'LL DO
