Job summary

Chapman Automotive Group in Tucson, AZ is seeking experienced Mercedes Benz Fleet Service Technicians to join our team. You will perform inspections, diagnostics and repairs on Mercedes fleet vehicles, maintain meticulous records, and communicate required services with service advisors.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive service technician experience.
• ASE and/or manufacturer certifications are a huge plus!
• Demonstrates thorough workmanship coupled with strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• General computer skills.
• Must have your own tools.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and a background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs to vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Communicate additional services needed to the Service Advisor, providing an estimate of time needed to complete additional repairs.
• Execute work specified on the repair order per dealership standards.
• Complete warranty repair work in compliance with manufacturer specifications.
• Thoroughly document vehicle inspection findings and maintenance recommendations.
