Job summary

Trucking People in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Parts Specialist for Fleet Operations on-site. This is a full-time, contract role paying $35.00–$40.00 per hour, with a Monday–Friday schedule and 8:00 AM–4:30 PM hours.

Overtime may be available to support vehicle builds. You will track parts inventory across multiple locations, perform IQCs, and organize build kits using BOMs to keep the fleet rolling and projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional teams.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Able to lift at least 30 lbs and handle physical tasks.
• Proficient with Windows, macOS, or Linux systems.

Responsibilities

• Support vehicle builds by working closely with managers, technicians and engineers.
• Track and manage parts inventory across multiple locations.
• Perform Incoming Quality Checks (IQC) following engineering guidelines.
• Identify and escalate part shortages or build blockers early.
• Organize inventory and prepare build kits using Bills of Materials (BOMs).
