Job summary

RTX is seeking a seasoned program management professional to align stakeholders within Commercial Engines and drive the Fleet Management Tool (FMT) governance and reporting. You will lead process improvements, deliver standard FMT reports, and partner with digital teams to enhance tool functionality.

The role requires experience in fleet management, strong Excel/data skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience as listed; OR an Advanced Degree and 7 years of experience as listed
  • Experience in program management, airline customer support or fleet management
  • Intermediate user of MS Office with focus on Excel for the purpose of data analysis and reporting

Responsibilities

  • Ensure ongoing alignment with key stakeholders (the Customer Focal Teams - CFT) across Commercial Engines.
  • Drive consistency and discipline in the use of the Fleet Management Tool (FMT).
  • Own the FMT business process and accuracy Control Tower metric.
  • Lead the FMT Governance Council to provide process guidance to the CFTs.
  • Support the Fleet Operation Managers with providing standard FMT Power BI Reports.
  • Work with the Digital Tool team to enhance the FMT based on user feedback.
  • Create and maintain Standard Work the FMT Playbook, all FMT processes and reports.
  • Analyze field reported data in conjunction with FMT to support communicating fleet health status in IPMT
  • Lead and/or support process improvement activities related to the fleet health data reporting and management
  • Support financial analysis activities by analyzing field data via and FMT
  • Support aircraft on ground (AOG) mitigation optimization initiative

What You Will Do:

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
