Job summary

MATHESON is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair fleet tractors and cryogenic tankers and diagnose mechanical problems to keep our fleet in top condition.

Typical duties include servicing tractors and trailers, performing inspections, and keeping accurate paperwork. CDL with Hazmat/Tank endorsements preferred; travel may be required. Excellent benefits after probation, including health, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

Certification from a mechanic trade school or 2 years related experience plus High School Diploma or GED
Maintain accurate paperwork and be knowledgeable on computers
Prefer CDL with the ability to obtain Hazmat and Tank endorsements
Possess own hand tools and up 1/2 inch air impact and sockets
Cryogenic and /or hydraulic experience a plus
Willing to travel as needed (limited travel)

Responsibilities

Fleet Mechanic maintains and repairs fleet tractors and cryogenic tankers.

Perform routine inspections on equipment and trailers.

Pay: $0‑$32.89 per hour
