Job summary

Dolphin Transportation in Naples, FL is seeking an experienced Fleet Mechanic (Diesel/ Gas Engine) for per diem work. You will inspect and repair sedans, SUVs, vans, and potentially buses, perform oil changes and PM services, and ensure a clean, safe shop while complying with OHSA, EPA and DOT rules.

Requirements include 3–4 years of repair experience, a valid driver's license (CDL A or B a plus), reliable transportation, and your own tools.

Responsibilities

Dolphin Transportation Specialist has been the largest independently owned, operated and maintained fleet of luxury vehicles in the South Florida region, and a proud member of the Hoffmann Family of Companies. Dolphin is looking for an experienced Mechanic, Per Diem, in the Naples area to join our team. We are looking for a courteous and friendly team player, who is a self-starter and with an excellent work ethic requiring little supervision.

Dolphin Transportation is a 24 hr./ 365-day operation, operating 7 days a week.

We are in need of an experienced Fleet Mechanic. We are now accepting resumes and applications. Must be experienced and perform quality work.

Job duties, but not limited to

• Perform a variety of inspections and repairs on Sedans, SUVs, Vans and possibly buses in our shop.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Comply with all company, OHSA, EPA and DOT rules and guidelines.
• Perform quality work in a timely manner.
• All other duties assigned, including completing all work orders.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 3 - 4 years' experience in repairs.
• Driver's License a must, CDL A or B preferred, with P endorsement is a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be a team player
• Strong work ethics and a commitment to extra hours when needed.
• Ability to adjust to work schedule and business needs.
• Adaptive and flexible, with a positive 'can do' attitude.
• Must have their own tools.
