MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to maintain a diverse fleet including Ford and Dodge service trucks, forklifts, tractors, and flatbed trailers. Responsibilities include inspections, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and record-keeping to ensure reliable operation.

The role requires mid-level mechanical skills, ability to use hand, power, and hydraulic tools, and a commitment to safety and quality service for MEI’s customers.

Qualifications

• Two to five years proven fleet mechanic experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools and equipment, hand, power, and pneumatic tools.
• Excellent attention to details, thoroughness, and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance and routine PM service on gas and diesel vehicles, forklifts, tractors, and trailers.
• Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests, identifying worn and damaged parts.
• Maintain vehicle records by annotating services and repairs.
• Keep equipment available by completing preventive maintenance schedules and repairs.
• Verify vehicle performance by test drives and adjusting controls and systems.
