Job summary

Amentum in California is seeking a Vehicle Mechanic to diagnose, analyze and repair malfunctions in government vehicles and equipment. You will perform maintenance, tune-ups and diagnostic testing using on-board systems to ensure safety and reliability.

The role requires at least 3 years of experience with gasoline/diesel engines, a valid state driver’s license, and strong safety practices. You will inspect, repair, and replace worn parts and interact with customers to update on status.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years minimum experience diagnosing, repair and maintaining a wide range of automotive equipment.
• Valid and current state driver's license.
• Knowledge of gasoline and diesel preventive maintenance.
• Strong safety operations and standard practices.
• Experience with vehicle electrical and electronic systems.

Responsibilities
