North Sky Communications, LLC is seeking a skilled Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of vehicles and equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency in compliance with standards.

You will perform diagnostics, plan preventive maintenance, and execute repairs on fleet vehicles and specialized machinery while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements. This role offers competitive pay and benefits in a dynamic, safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of mechanic experience preferred, especially fleet or commercial equipment.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Determine repair or maintenance plans for vehicles and equipment based on cost/benefit analysis.
• Conduct diagnostics to troubleshoot failures in vehicles and equipment.
• Inspect and provide strategic maintenance recommendations.
• Follow repair and maintenance procedures.
• Dismantle, repair, and reassemble vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and fueled at all times.
• Operate and test vehicles to ensure proper functioning.
• Maintain a clean, orderly workspace.
• Other duties as assigned.
