Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Vocational automotive tech training or certification preferred.
  • ASE certification may be required or preferred.
  • Previous experience in vehicle maintenance and two-cycle repair is beneficial.
  • Job experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect vehicles and identify mechanical or electrical problems.
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake servicing.
  • Diagnose issues using diagnostic equipment and testing tools.
  • Repair or replace defective parts, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems.
  • Test vehicles after repairs to verify proper operation.
  • Maintain accurate service records and follow safety procedures.
