Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is seeking an experienced mechanic to perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on our fleet in Houston, TX. The role includes troubleshooting, service calls, tool maintenance, and vehicle deliveries.

CDL Class A is required, ASE is preferred, and prior experience with both light and heavy equipment is valued. Starting pay ranges from $27.38 to $34.03 per hour, with additional earning opportunities such as incentives and bonuses, plus

Compensation: Starting pay ranges from $27.38 to $34.03 per hour, based on experience. Additional earning opportunities may include performance-based incentives, quarterly bonuses, referral bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

General Purpose

Responsible for performing mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on company fleet vehicles.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and complete repairs on all types of vehicles.
• Perform preventative maintenance in fleet.
• Respond to service calls.
• Maintain tools.
• Clean work area.
• Pick up and deliver vehicles.

Qualifications

Education: High School or GED required.

Experience: 1 Plusyears of mechanic experience on light and heavy equipment required. 3 Plusyears journeyman mechanic experience preferred. Gasoline, diesel and propane vehicle experience preferred. Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude. May be required to supply automotive hand tools (not including heavy duty or diagnostic tools). ASE certification preferred. CDL Class A required.
