Job summary

Ace Outdoor Services is seeking an experienced Fleet Mechanic to diagnose, maintain, and repair a diverse fleet of trucks and equipment. This hands-on role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to perform welding and fabrication as needed.

You will service CAT equipment and Ford trucks, perform routine maintenance, and help ensure all units are safe, clean, and ready for use.

Qualifications

• Experience with general automotive, truck, or equipment repair.
• Welding experience.
• Familiarity with CAT equipment and Ford trucks preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL-A is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair CAT equipment and Ford trucks.
• Perform routine automotive maintenance and repairs (oil changes, brakes, belts, etc.).
• Maintain and repair snow plows and salt spreaders.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and complete repairs efficiently.
• Perform welding and fabrication as needed.
• Inspect equipment and ensure units are safe and ready for use.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area.
• Work efficiently while meeting safety and quality standards.

Ace Outdoor Services is looking for an experienced Fleet Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair our fleet of trucks and equipment. This is a hands‑on role for someone who takes pride in quality work, can troubleshoot mechanical issues, and is comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair CAT equipment and Ford trucks
• Perform routine automotive maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, brakes, belts, and related components
• Maintain and repair snow plows and salt spreaders
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and complete repairs efficiently
• Perform welding and fabrication as needed
• Inspect equipment and help ensure units are safe, clean, and ready for use
• Maintain a safe and organized work area
• Work efficiently while meeting company safety and quality standards

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with general automotive, truck, or equipment repair
• Welding experience
• Familiarity with CAT equipment and Ford trucks preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• CDL-A is a plus
• Ability to safely use mechanic tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Dependable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently when needed

Schedule

• Full-time
• Flexible availability may be required, including overnights and weekends, particularly during seasonal operations
