Job summary

Green Impressions, LLC is hiring a full-time Fleet Mechanic to diagnose, maintain, and repair gas and diesel trucks and trailers, and to support small engine equipment used by landscaping crews. The role spans shop, yard, and field work with irregular hours during peak seasons, snow events, and holidays.

You will ensure safety, quality, and reliability while keeping vehicles and equipment ready for day-to-day use and peak demands.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a mechanic.
• Experience with gas/diesel trucks and trailers.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity in shop/field.
• Weekend and snow-event repair support as needed.
• Certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair gas/diesel trucks and trailers for daily operations.
• Assist with diagnostics and maintenance of small engine equipment (mowers, blowers, trimmers, edgers, chainsaws).
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards per company policies and regs.
• Keep vehicles, equipment, work areas, and sites clean and organized.
• Submit daily paperwork documenting maintenance and repairs.
• Coordinate with team for efficient fleet operations.
• Provide repair support during snow events, nights, weekends, or holidays.

Join Green Impressions as a full-time Fleet Mechanic and help keep a landscaping fleet ready for year-round operations. You will diagnose, maintain, and repair gas and diesel trucks and trailers, while assisting with small engine equipment used by landscaping crews. Work alongside a team focused on safety, quality, and reliability in the shop, yard, and field. The role includes repair support during peak seasons and snow events, with nights, weekends, holidays, or other hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair gas and diesel trucks and trailers to keep crews and equipment ready for daily operations.
• Assist with diagnostics and maintenance of small engine equipment, including mowers, blowers, trimmers, edgers, and chainsaws.
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards in the shop, yard, and field, following company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Keep assigned vehicles, equipment, work areas, and job sites clean and organized.
• Complete and submit daily paperwork documenting maintenance and repairs.
• Coordinate with team members to support efficient fleet operations.
• Provide repair support during snow events, including nights, weekends, holidays, or other hours as needed.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience as a mechanic.
• General knowledge of tools and equipment used in the landscaping industry.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and work with small engine equipment, heavy equipment, and materials.
• Ability to repeatedly lift at least 50 pounds throughout a work shift.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced shop and field environment.
• Flexible availability for occasional weekend work and snow-event repair support, including nights and holidays as needed.
• Relevant mechanic certifications preferred, but not required.

Compensation

$27–$31 per hour, based on experience.
