Job summary

Quikrete – Ready Mix in Longview/Tyler, TX seeks a Field Mechanic to maintain and repair mobile heavy equipment and support plant maintenance. The role requires basic electrical and hydraulic repair skills and hands-on experience with engines.

You will perform routine maintenance, use diagnostic tools, and keep detailed maintenance records while coordinating with senior mechanics for major issues. Opportunities for overtime and comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of technical school training or hands-on experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
• Experience repairing diesel and gas engines.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems and electrical repair skills.

We are looking for a FIELD MECHANIC to join our team in Longview, TX and Tyler, TX as needed. As a Field Mechanic with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mobile heavy equipment and supporting plant maintenance.
