Job summary

Momper Insulation in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a skilled diesel and gas engine technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain engines, pumps, hydraulic systems, and air brake systems in a busy shop and outdoor environment.

You will perform air conditioning repairs, Arc/MIG welding, and use scanners and diagnostic tools; a CDL is a plus, and the company supports ongoing learning and advancement.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; CDL is a plus.
• Comfortable using scanners and computer diagnostic tools.
• Experience with small engine repair is preferred.
• Cummins Insite experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain gas and diesel engines.
• Repair and maintain pumps and pump systems.
• Repair and maintain hydraulic systems and hydraulic brakes.
• Repair and maintain air brake systems.
• Perform air conditioning repairs.

• Repair and maintain pumps and pump systems


• Repair and maintain hydraulic systems and hydraulic brakes


• Repair and maintain air brake systems


• Perform air conditioning repairs


• Perform Arc and MIG welding


• Complete other tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED preferred


• Valid driver’s license required; Chauffeur’s license needed (CDL is a plus)


• Comfortable using scanners and computer diagnostic tools


• Cummins Insite experience is a plus


• Experience with small engine repair


• Able to bend, twist, lift, and move throughout the workday


• Someone who enjoys a variety of tasks and thrives in a constantly challenging, stimulating environment.
