Job summary

Structures, Inc. is a locally owned heavy civil construction company in Colorado seeking a skilled mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet. You will diagnose and fix hydraulic, fuel, and electrical systems on trucks and heavy equipment, deliver equipment to sites, and operate a mobile service truck when required.

Must provide your own tools; pre-employment background and drug screen are required. Growth opportunities exist in a fast-paced, collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years in maintenance and service related to fleet equipment.
• Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, fuel, and electrical systems on trucks and heavy equipment.
• CDL with clean MVR preferred for delivering equipment to sites; tool ownership required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service fleet to keep equipment ready for projects.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, fuel and electrical systems on gas/diesel trucks and heavy equipment.
• Operate mobile service vehicle to various job sites as needed.
• Work with team in a fast-paced environment; maintain a positive attitude.

Job description

This is a full-time (40hrs per week) hourly position.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Must have 2 years minimum experience in work related to preventative maintenance and services. Structures has a constant need for keeping our fleet up and running efficiently.


• Experience is required in diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, fuel, and electrical systems on gas and diesel powered trucks as well as heavy construction equipment and small tools.


• Experience with heavy equipment, diagnosing and repairing hydraulic and electrical systems is mandatory.


• CDL with excellent MVR is preferred to help in delivering equipment to projects. Operation of mobile service truck to and from various jobsites will be required.


• Ability to operate and work around heavy construction equipment (all-terrain forklifts, skid steers, backhoes, etc.) is required.


• Must have ability to maintain a "can do" attitude and ability to work with all team members in a fast-paced environment.


• A pre-employment background and drug screen is required.


• Must provide own tools.

Physical Demands:

• Stoop, bend, crouch, reach, kneel and climb frequently


• Occasionally lift up to 70 lbs.


• Frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.


• Repetitive use of hands and wrists with various tools, including fine motor movements and manipulations
