Job summary

Rapid Wire LLC is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and construction equipment in Colorado. The role involves diagnostics, routine inspections, and performing preventative maintenance to keep our fleet safe and reliable.

Minimum 1 year of mechanical experience is preferred, with diesel engine or heavy equipment familiarity. Candidates must own their tools and have a valid driver's license (CDL a plus).

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of mechanical experience (preferred in diesel engines or heavy equipment).
• Experience with diesel engines or heavy equipment is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow repair manuals in English.
• Own a set of tools required for the job.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and construction equipment (including directional drills & excavators).
• Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs.
• Ensure all equipment meets safety and performance standards.
• Utilize power tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot issues.
