Job summary

National Dentex Laboratories (NDX) is seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee the North American fleet and courier operations supporting all labs.

You will develop optimized routes, manage fleet vendors, and implement KPIs to improve on-time delivery and cost efficiency across the network.

The role requires 3–5 years in fleet management, an associates degree, and strong Excel/Microsoft Office skills; regular office hours with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates’ Degree or Equivalent is required.
• 3–5 years related work experience in fleet management and administration.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Implement best in class fleet and courier operation for all domestic shipments.
• Collaborate with regional operations directors and site managers for fleet needs and solutions.
• Develop optimized routes for all lab locations to ensure efficient fleet use and delivery.
• Oversee fleet partner relations to ensure low-cost, reliable solutions.
• Manage fleet-related taxes, tags, titles, maintenance, fuel and toll programs.
• Develop robust fleet replacement programs across locations.
• Lead KPIs to track on-time delivery and overall fleet cost.
• Manage telematics program and route planning across the network.

Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry. We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have several labs throughout the country. Our team is growing, and we are hiring a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity for a Fleet Manager.

The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

• Implement best in class fleet and courier operation for all domestic shipments, to support the strategic operating plan for the organization.
• Work collaboratively with regional operations directors, sites general managers for their fleet and courier needs and challenges providing robust reliable solutions for their labs.
• Work collaboratively will all lab operations to build and develop optimized routes for all lab locations, ensuring optimal use of the fleet while supporting best in class delivery for all NDX customers.
• Oversee and manage fleet partner supplier relations, ensuring we have low-cost reliable solutions in place for the organization.
• Manage all aspects of fleet, tax, tag, title, maintenance, fuel and toll programs for the network ensuring optimal use and strict adherence to company and state requirements.
• Develop robust fleet replacement programs across all locations ensuring optimal cost for all replacement programs.
• Lead, develop and roll out KPIs to track and measure operational performance of the fleet operations, managing on time delivery, operational efficiency and cost for the network.
• Manage telematics program for the network, ensuring company policies and procedures are adhered to and maintained.
• Develop and implement route planning and optimization solutions for the network.

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

• Associates’ Degree or Equivalent
• 3-5 years related work experience in fleet management and administration
• Experience with Microsoft Office products, excellent excel skills
