Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Denver, CO is seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee truck scheduling, ensure DOT compliance, supervise drivers, and maintain fleet operations. You will lead route planning, manage driver qualifications, and coordinate maintenance programs while upholding safety and service quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years managing DOT-regulated drivers and scheduling transportation.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively.
• Must be able to read and use a tape measurer.
• Professional, courteous communication with customers and drivers; safety-first mindset and team-oriented attitude.
• Experience in the glass industry and a valid (unexpired) CDL are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise drivers, ensure adherence to DOT and company policies, audit logs, and maintain driver qualification files.
• Conduct driver training, schedule routes and deliveries, and coordinate workloads.
• Prepare delivery schedules, bill of ladings, trip records, and fuel tax reports; manage common carrier shipments.
• Inspect load securely, review proof of deliveries, handle rejected goods, and coordinate reorders.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance programs and ensure all vehicles meet regulatory standards.

TheFleet Manageris focused on scheduling trucks for delivery and keeping the company in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, supervising drivers, and fleet maintenance.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively (verbal and written); basic math aptitude and computer familiarity.
• Must be able to read and use a tape measurer.
• Professional, courteous communication with customers and drivers; safety-first mindset and team-oriented attitude.
• Experience in the glass industry and a valid (unexpired) CDL are preferred.

Position Pay Range

$81,000 - $101,000 CAD
