Alta Dena Dairy, a DFA-owned brand, has immediate openings for skilled fleet maintenance technician II in City of Industry, CA. Salary is $39.67/hr with a Mon-Fri 2:00PM–10:30PM schedule and potential overtime.

Responsibilities include routine fleet maintenance and diagnosing mechanical/electronic issues while adhering to DOT and company regulations. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, ability to pass screenings, CDL within 12 months, and 2–3 years of heavy/medium-duty

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Pass pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a dusty, greasy environment.
• Must be able to follow all required work safe practices and flexible hours.
• Must obtain CDL Class A/B within 12 months of hire.
• Experience with heavy/medium duty equipment and diagnostics is required.
• Refrigeration experience preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience with mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy/medium duty equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair services on fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic systems to identify root causes.
• Maintain and troubleshoot engines, ABS, transmission, and related components.

JOB SUMMARY

Alta Dena Dairy has immediate job openings for skilled fleet maintenance technician II to perform routine maintenance and repair services on different types of fleet vehicles under DOT and company regulations. In this role, the person will also perform preventive fleet maintenance and diagnose mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic systems to identify root causes of fluctuating failures/conditions.

Pay rate:$39.67/hr

SCHEDULE: Mon - Fri: 2:00PM to 10:30PMSaturdays if needed. (Schedule subject to change due to rebidding)

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, reach and crawl and possibly sit for virtually the entire shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others
• Must be able to work in a dusty, greasy environment, with moderate noise and cold and hot temperature ranges
• Must be able to follow all required work safe practices
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to maintain CDL Class A/B license within 12 months of hire
• Must be computer literate and have experience with engine, ABS, transmission, etc., as well as diagnostic equipment and software
• Must have experience with manipulation of tools, equipment and truck components
• Experience with refrigeration preferred
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience with mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy duty and medium duty equipment.
• Two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
