Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Maintenance Car Fleet Technician in Juncos, PR. The role supports operation, inspection, and maintenance of car fleet, equipment, and facilities, including golf carts and standard vehicles.

You will assist MES Mobile Engineers and perform inspections, reporting conditions affecting client occupancy and operations. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years of related experience, and a valid drivers license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 13 years of general building repair and maintenance experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive and repair work orders for facility maintenance.
• Inspect and repair assigned interior/exterior building areas and fleet equipment (golf carts, cars).
• Update work orders in CMMS in real time and report issues to supervisor.

The Maintenance Car Fleet Technician supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes to car fleet, equipment, systems, and facilities services. Assists MES Mobile Engineers in maintenance and repair efforts, as well as independently performing defined tasks. May perform inspections and basic repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, included but not limited to walls, floors, fixtures installation, as required. Maintenance: Golf carts and cars fleet maintenance. Performance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on general facility maintenance as needed. Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations. Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and/or equipment as directed. Moves office furniture, machinery, equipment and other materials as requested. Any and all other duties and tasks assigned. Safety: Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them. Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws. Must complete all required safety trainings as scheduled Practice Defensive Driving at all times Complies with all policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials. Driving: Candidate must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license. Administrative: Update work order status in real time. Utilize CMMS systems such as Maximo for all work performed. Perform Vehicle Safety Inspection as per procedures Escalating problems or issues to Customer and Manager in a timely manner. Attend work and safety meetings as required Other: Any and all other duties and tasks assigned as business needs.

Education/training: High school diploma or equivalent Years of relevant experience: Have a minimum of 1- 3 years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, basic electrical and basic mechanical.
