Job summary

Transervice Logistics seeks a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead the fleet maintenance department in the Denver area. The role focuses on directing daily operations, scheduling, safety, and ensuring timely, quality repairs across the fleet.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of supervisory diesel shop experience, strong Excel and Word skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years direct supervisory experience in a diesel maintenance shop.
• Diesel technician background with strong skills in MS Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of mechanical fundamentals and diesel maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate fleet maintenance department activities to optimize equipment use.
• Schedule training for mechanics and assign/direct work as needed.
• Maintain warranties, PM schedules and repair records.
• Oversee parts ordering and inventory; manage shop records and safety policies.
• Ensure repairs are completed safely, timely, and with quality workmanship.
• Review work orders for accuracy and completeness; maintain shop manuals and documentation.

Fleet Maintenance Supervisor

$60,000 to $65,000 annually depending on experience

This position will direct and coordinate activities of the fleet maintenance department to obtain optimum use of equipment, facilities and personnel. Responsibilities include schedule training of mechanics, planning, assigning and directing work, conducting performance appraisals, rewarding and disciplining mechanics, addressing complaints and resolving problems

The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for planning and scheduling repair work for the work group to ensure that all work is done in a safe and timely manner, reducing lost productivity.

Essential Functions:

• Oversee the records management of all equipment
• Maintain warranties, PM schedule and repair records
• Oversee the ordering of parts & maintain parts inventory
• Manage the repair & maintenance of customers equipment
• Assist in maintaining safety & health policies.
• Maintain shop manuals, catalogues & bulletins
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment in the shop
• Report all injuries and safety violations to the Corporate Safety Manager
• Ensure that the service department performs with a positive attitude and a sense of urgency that exceeds customer expectations
• Inspect equipment to ensure they are being maintained properly
• Review Mechanics work orders for accuracy and completeness
• Must have strong skills in Microsoft Office specifically Excel and Word along with fleet-related software

• Schedule is Thursday thru Saturdayand every other Wednesday
• 700 PM to 700 AM

Fleet Maintenance Supervisor Requirements:

• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office specifically excel and Word
• Knowledge of mechanical fundamentals, diesel maintenance, diagnosis, and repair to fleet operation.
