Job summary

LAZ Parking is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor in Pittsburgh to ensure the safe and efficient operation of shuttle vehicles. Responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles, coordinating with repair shops, and maintaining repair records.

The ideal candidate has proven experience as an automotive or diesel mechanic, a CDL A/B driver's license with passenger endorsement, and strong problem-solving skills.

This position offers a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday and pays $25.00 per hour.

Details

Fleet Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Pittsburgh International

Hourly Rate: $25.00/HR

Schedule: FT Monday to Friday (8am-4pm)

Requirements: MUST have CDL with passenger endorsement + DOT medical card

Spirit of the Position

The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, cleaning and maintaining shuttle vehicles to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation in addition to upkeep projects. This positions mainly consist of coordinating with repair shops, maintaining repair records, reviewing driver vehicle inspection reports and maintaining vehicle. Requires supports daily transportation services by minimizing downtime and maintaining vehicles according to company and manufacturer standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, fluid checks).
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Conduct safety inspections to ensure vehicles meet DOT and company standards.
  • Complete work orders and maintain records accurately and timely.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop area.
Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure all shuttle vehicles comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintain proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school training preferred.
  • Proven experience as an automotive or diesel mechanic.
  • CDL A/B Valid driver's license (passenger endorsement is required)
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in various shop conditions.
