Job summary

RATP Dev USA in Visalia, CA seeks a visionary Fleet Maintenance Manager to lead a diverse maintenance team, uphold OSHA regulations, and drive safety, quality, and efficiency in transit services.

You will develop and implement preventive maintenance programs, manage budgets, and coordinate with Safety, Risk, and Continuous Improvement teams to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence. This is a senior, on-site leadership role based in Visalia.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of Federal, State, and Local laws related to maintenance.
• Ability to interact and communicate with public officials and all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight, direction, and coordination of staff to deliver cost-effective, efficient, and reliable transit services.
• Establish and enforce safety policies and procedures to meet OSHA standards.
• Oversee maintenance budgets and expenditures for cost-effectiveness.
• Negotiate with vendors and manage contractual services for vehicle, system, and facility upkeep.
