Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to manage the fleet maintenance team at a large shop location. You will lead technicians, ensure timely repairs, and coordinate with Operations to keep equipment ready for daily operations.

The role requires a high school diploma, maintenance experience, and a valid driver’s license. Expect travel as needed and adherence to safety and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of vehicle maintenance experience with at least 6 months of team lead experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license; capable of operating manual transmission trucks.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of DOT rules preferred.
• Proven leadership and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, educate and develop maintenance personnel.
• Ensure high-quality and timely equipment repairs.
• Plan daily staffing to meet workload.
• Provide support to Operations on equipment issues.
• Monitor costs and improve maintenance efficiencies.
• Maintain compliance documentation and safety in working conditions.
