Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greeting our customers and ensuring they have a great experience as you fuel and wash vehicles
• Performing vehicle readiness inspections to verify tires, fluids, and other basic maintenance items
• Helping maintain clean, safe facilities for customers and associates
• Building skills through training and hands-on coaching to perform minor repairs such as installing mounted tires, replacing or rotating tires, and performing preventive maintenance
• Completing other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

General Requirements

• High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team

• Basic mechanical ability and tool usage (preferred)
• Basic computer skills
• Understanding and compliance with Penske instructions, guidelines, and safety policies
• Ability to perform all work adhering to DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety and maintenance policies, including proper tool and PPE use
• Regular, predictable, full attendance
• Driver qualification requirements: DOT-regulated, with MVR checks, physical, and safety history records; CDL holders will have a DOT drug screening and FMCSA Clearinghouse review
• Willingness to travel within a near geography for training and pass background checks and drug screening as required

This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and requires the ability to work in a state of alertness to perform duties safely.

Physical Requirements

• Work safely at heights using ladders and elevated platforms
• Work in all weather conditions
• See and hear well to navigate the work environment
• Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs routinely and up to 100 lbs occasionally; ability to push/pull tires exceeding 100 lbs
