Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company is seeking a Fleet Instructional Technologist to deliver and maintain the fleet Instructor Training Program. You will coach instructors, partner with leaders and SMEs, and drive improvements across instructional settings, ensuring compliance and accreditation.

The role supports approximately 100 instructors fleetwide with occasional travel (2–3 times per year) and requires strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills to enhance training quality and

Qualifications

• Six years of instructional or eligible department experience.
• Proven leadership, compliance, and timely execution in a regulated environment.
• Strong communication, collaboration, analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and support multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and improve instructor training per SAT and fleet standards.
• Coach instructors through qualification across classroom, lab, simulator, and digital settings.
• Partner with training leaders, program owners, and SMEs to resolve gaps and align fleet practices.
• Lead assessments, performance trending, corrective actions, and improvements for accreditation and compliance.
• Provide guidance for SAT processes, curricula, exams, records, learning systems, and training workflows.
• Develop and review training materials, procedures, evaluations, CBTs, SharePoint resources, and online learning solutions.
• Use training data to improve quality, accessibility, engagement, efficiency, and execution.
• Facilitate fleet meetings, working groups, benchmarking, and industry engagement.
