The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, hands‑on troubleshooting in diesel, hydraulics, and electrical systems, and a track record of reducing downtime while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in technician training and performance management.
• Strong technical background with diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Hands-on, lead-from-the-floor style and safety-focused mindset.
• Experience managing high-volume maintenance in transport, industrial, or municipal settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-volume maintenance operation to keep fleet and equipment ready for daily service.
• Drive 95%+ equipment availability through proactive scheduling and rapid repairs.
• Enforce a zero-incident safety standard with toolbox talks and LOTO.
• Coach and upskill diesel technicians for diagnostics and repairs.
• Implement process improvements to cut unplanned downtime and raise productivity.
• Manage labor, parts, and third-party repair costs while maintaining quality.
