Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. in Salem, VA is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Fueler Washer. You will fuel, wash and inspect vehicles to ensure they are clean, safe and road-ready, while greeting customers with a smile.

No prior experience required; Penske provides training and opportunities to advance toward technician roles through hands-on coaching and access to advanced vehicle maintenance technology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Willingness to work outdoors.
• Basic mechanical ability and tool usage (preferred).
• The associate must understand and comply with Penske safety policies and DOT/OSHA rules.

Responsibilities

• Greeting our customers and ensuring a great experience as you fuel and wash vehicles.
• Performing vehicle readiness inspections (tires, fluids, basic maintenance).
• Help keep facilities clean and safe for customers and staff.
• Develop skills through training and hands-on coaching to perform minor repairs.
• Complete other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
