Qualifications

• Able to work with limited supervision and manage assigned tasks.
• Good communication and organizational abilities.
• Successful completion of required company background check and drug screening.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport rental vehicles between branches, or other assigned destinations.
• Operate fleet vehicles including vans, cars, trucks, and other vehicles.
• Check vehicles for issues before and after transportation and report concerns to management.
• Coordinate movement and positioning of vehicles as needed.
• Work with fleet and operations teams to keep vehicles moving between locations.
• Follow all procedures related to safe driving and vehicle handling.
• Keep assigned schedules and notify management about attendance or scheduling concerns.
• Perform other vehicle-related or operational assignments as needed.

Description Avis-Budget Rent a Car of Utah is hiring a Part-Time Shuttle Fleet Driver to support our fleet operations in the St. George area. This role is responsible for getting company vehicles where they need to go, including between rental branches.

If you enjoy being on the road, working independently, and staying active rather than sitting at a desk, this position offers a practical way to contribute to the daily operation of a busy rental fleet.

The position focuses primarily on vehicle transportation and internal operations rather than direct customer service.

What You’ll Do

• Transport rental vehicles between branches, or other assigned destinations.
• Operate a variety of fleet vehicles, including passenger vans, cars, trucks, and other vehicles.
• Check vehicles for obvious issues before and after transportation and communicate any concerns to management.
• Help coordinate the movement and positioning of vehicles as operational needs arise.
• Work with the fleet and operations teams to keep vehicles moving efficiently between locations.
• Follow all company procedures related to safe driving, vehicle handling, and transportation.
• Keep assigned schedules and shifts and notify management as soon as possible about attendance or scheduling concerns.
• Perform other vehicle-related or operational assignments as needed.
