Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Fleet Diesel Mechanic for a dairy distributor on the West Side of Cleveland. Role involves maintaining trucks, trailers and reefer units with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Shifts are 2nd and 3rd. Pay rate is $22-$26 per hour. Requires CDL, EPA licenses, brake inspector certification, and a strong tools set, with onboarding within 3 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-year certificate from college/technical school OR 2+ years experience in vehicle maintenance or repair.
• Must own set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Access all areas of truck, trailer, and reefer units for repairs and maintenance.
• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturers’ requirements and complete repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair A/C and DC electric systems; power and drive lines; air and brake systems; lift and hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of TK/Carrier/Cold Plate cooling systems.
