Job summary

US Foods is seeking a skilled Fleet Diesel Mechanic to keep our delivery fleet operating safely and reliably. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure compliance with DOT and company standards.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, safety-focused shop, partner with operations to reduce downtime, document all work performed, and support a performance-driven, customer-focused culture that helps our foodservice

Qualifications

• Experience in diesel fleet maintenance and repair.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to read repair manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel tractors and trailers.
• Service refrigeration units and other fleet equipment as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document work performed.
• Collaborate with operations to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
