Job summary

U-Haul is seeking detailers to clean and buff trucks and trailers at our Springfield, IL location. This entry-level position offers on-the-job learning and opportunities to join the Technician Training Program while supporting a large fleet.

You must have a driver’s license, work well in a team and as an individual, and maintain regular attendance. Eligible employees may access comprehensive benefits and advancement opportunities within U-Haul.

Responsibilities

• Clean and buff trucks and trailers.
• Handle damaged equipment and prepare for sale by removing decals.
• Use industry standard safety equipment.
• Work in a production line.
• Lend assistance in additional areas as directed by the supervisor.
