Job summary

Linde plc in the United States is seeking a Fleet Coordinator to manage the full lifecycle of company vehicles, from requisition to disposal, while maintaining inventory and lease records. You will coordinate registrations, insurance renewals, and regulatory compliance, and partner with vendors to ensure accurate documentation and vehicle compliance.

You will oversee acquisitions, deliveries, retirements, rentals, and accessory purchases, monitor mileage and policy adherence, review maintenance

Qualifications

  • Two or more years of fleet coordination experience with high-volume vehicle leases.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • You will manage the full fleet lifecycle, including vehicle requisition, assignment, transfer, replacement, decommissioning, and surplus disposition
  • Maintain vehicle inventory, lease records, and location data within fleet management systems
  • Coordinate vehicle registrations, titles, permits, insurance renewals, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Partner with fleet management companies and third-party vendors to ensure accurate documentation and vehicle compliance
  • Oversee vehicle acquisitions, deliveries, retirements, rentals, and accessory/equipment purchases
  • Coordinate vehicle transfers and reallocation of surplus inventory to support operational needs
  • Monitor mileage reporting, traffic violations, and adherence to fleet policies and procedures
  • Review and approve vehicle repair and maintenance requests within established authorization limits
  • Assist with fleet replacement planning and identify vehicles that meet replacement criteria
  • Generate and analyze fleet reports to support data accuracy, policy enforcement, and operational decision-making
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce fleet maintenance and management expenses
  • Recommend process improvements and technology solutions to enhance fleet operations and efficiency
  • Collaborate with operations and distribution teams to ensure vehicles meet safety, technical, and business requirements

Job description

What makes you great
  • You have a high school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Two (2+) years of fleet coordination experience, including management of high-volume vehicle leases
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas), PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience using web-based fleet management and business software applications
  • You have knowledge of vehicle insurance, title processing, registration, and documentation requirements
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder relationship management skills
  • You have experience collaborating with internal teams, external vendors, and business partners
  • Knowledge of JDE and/or SAP systems preferred

Pay commensurate with experience. Open to salary range $63,375 - $92,950
